Ingredients
  

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix 15.25 oz
  • 1 package instant chocolate pudding mix 3.9 oz
  • 2 cups milk or evaporated milk
  • 1 cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
  • ½ cup butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract optional
  • ½ teaspoon salt enhances chocolate flavor
  • Optional toppings: whipped cream caramel drizzle, chopped nuts

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Layer chocolate cake mix, pudding mix, melted butter, milk, and chocolate chips in the dish without stirring.
